Pastor Jared is an innovator, thinker and visionary. A native of Savannah, Ga, he received his foundation under the leadership of Dr. Idell Cheever at Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center , in the Savannah area. Pastor Jared holds a Bachelor of Theology in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary and currently is pursuing an additional degree in Pastoral Theology from Luther Rice College and Seminary.

Pastor Jared has served on many platforms, yet his heart for the community has always been at the forefront. In 2014, he launched his first outreach ministry, Helping Hands, a community n initiative to help those in impoverished areas by providing clothes, food and warm blankets.

Pastor Jared is the faithful husband of Pastor Keli. They share four beautiful children and one grandchild. As Senior Pastor of VBC, he strives to focus on three principles: faith, family and freedom.

Pastor Keli is an anointed psalmist and minister of the Gospel. She is totally committed to Christ and her assignment as a worship leader and Executive Pastor of VBC.

Pastor Keli's gift of song and the favor of God have afforded her countless opportunities to minister on platforms shared with iconic artists like Mariah Carey, Kurt Carr, Shirley Ceaser, Bebe Winans, Kierra Sheard, The Walls Group, and Richard Smallwood. While Pastor Keli has performed in productions like “The Black Nativity”; she is also known for her work as a vocalist in Paramount Pictures, “The Fighting Temptations” and has been featured as a lead soloist on TV projects, some of which include “Greenleaf”, “The Chi” and “Black Mafia Family”.

In 2015, Pastor Keli was licensed as a minister and then received a degree in Human Services from Shorter University. Pastor Keli is a loving wife to Pastor Jared, the mother of four beautiful children, and proud grandmother to Levi James Joseph.
